Yeah, I know, it's been all "Wire" around here ever since Season 5 started. I'm partly concerned about that and have been contemplating ways to expand the idea behind TGTV without, you know, doing a ceaseless and unrelenting amount of care and feeding. Why do I have two blogs, again?
Anyway, you may have seen this already but I thought I'd share. Even if you don't have HD or even care what format is going to win the format wars - HD-DVD or Blu-ray - the video is still hilarious. Of course, I think that because it incorporates two of my favorite comedic devices - anger and swearing.

Well, Aran, I don't read many other blogs. And a little redundancy never hurt. That's the thing about viral videos - nobody's ever first. Though I think I was the first to see that cute sleeping kitty on YouTube...

I'm also just bitter over the fact that I am only on Season 2 of The Wire, so I have been forced to stay away from your blog lately.
That was HILARIOUS. I hadn't seen it before. Although I did see the movie and it was great.
Has anyone seen the football version of this clip? A crack up.
I thought the football version was a lot funnier. But that may be because I'm not invested in the HD-DVD/BluRay scuffle. They'll have it all sorted out before I can afford either.
Awesome link, I passed it on to a forum where we were discussing the impending doom of HD-DVD. Netflix announced the other day that they're dropping HD-DVD as well. :(
I'm more into football, so the Giants/Cowboys one was funnier. This was good, but having seen the other first, the effect was somewhat dampened. I'm glad that at least 'aran' got to post. I remember when Season 4 was being deco'd on SFGate, I had to stop reading for months. Actually, it's all Tim's fault that I first signed up for Netflix, and now HBO just so I could watch "The Wire" in real time.
